Giving <3

Hello all!!

I am still taking a break from the blog, but had an event that I photographed a few weeks ago, that I felt so compelled to share. This was inspiring on so many levels. My friends Jamie and Torrey Staton, who own Salon Cosabella, were hosting the event and made this a place you felt like you NEEDED to be apart of. The positivity and outpouring of camaraderie was contagious. The fundraiser was for an organization called the BeYouTiful Foundation foundation! The stylists all donated time and talent for the day, and and had the pleasure of working with all the generous people who came in droves to either donate hair, or to donate funds by getting a haircut that day, inspired me beyond words! Every cent made that day, was donated to this amazing foundation who help cancer patients transition through what can be a very sensitive and emotional time of their journey.

Some cool things about that I love about this foundation that made it stand out to me, is that they can take color treated hair, and they can also use old hair extensions, so literally nothing will go to waste and anyone can contribute!

Here are some highlights of the day and I hope if you are ever around one of these benefits that you consider being a part of it! What a beautiful way to help someone who is going through some super rough stuff!!

Jamie, Torrey, and Salon Cosabella stylists, you all are incredible and all I saw that day was smiles, laughter and energy that exuded from every one. The place was packed and I don’t think they had ANY stylists who didn’t have every appointment filled, for the entire day! Thank you for all you did!!
