Session Share - Jae

When sharing sessions, there are usually a few images that stand out that extra little bit, that are forerunners for the cover photo, the photo that represents the whole write up. With Jae’s session, I legit scanned and scanned her images, trying to decide on how I wanted to open the page of this book. I chose this one, and it is in great company with a plethora of other incredible images of a young woman who will be going places in her life! No doubts!!

YOU…

You are the hero of this story!

Jae felt best represented in an urban environment, and we both thought downtown Denver would be the best place for her to shine her light. Downtown is a place that I am ALWAYS excited to shoot in. There are so many interesting places to stop, look around, and make some fantastic and memorable images. Union Station was where we would begin…this place is provides a dramatic and unique backdrop for interesting photographs/portraits! Click on the small images to enlarge for the full effect!!

Jae was on the quiet side, but as you can see, in front of my lens she had poise and confidence. She knew exactly what I was going for when we would talk for a moment at each spot, and together we made the magic happen! It’s a collaboration for sure, and collaborate we DID, to reveal the soft beauty and sophisticated nature that she presents.

We moved around the station, and the lines, textures and colors were enough to make me burst with ideas of how to place this beautiful soul inside of the environment, to make her shine! We wandered the streets, an old hotel and finally ended up at a mural that I’ve been waiting to come across ever since a good friend told me about it! A happy accident for sure!!

Are you as blown away as I am? I knew you would be!!!

This was a fun one, getting to the city and playing with curves and colors, lines and reflections….

Thank you for popping back in today, I hope you enjoyed what you read and saw! I if you did, it would be really helpful and appreciated if you would drop a comment below, or share the blog!!

Until next week….
