Finding your own vibe...multiple sessions with the same photographer!

Doing repeat sessions for families, or next in line sibling sessions, are a true joy for me. I love to get to experience the differences between the years, or the seasons, or the personalities. I can’t sugar coat it though, I think the first in line, especially with senior pictures, may feel like it’s the best! BUT, it doesn’t have to be! I have photographed 4 of 6 sisters in a single family, and each session was unique and personalized to each girl! That, is what I want to assure you if YOU, are down the line in birth order!

Although it’s not critical, choosing a different location like Shea did, is a great way to be able to let your personality shine without any chance of overlap! I was just talking to my senior during a session this last weekend and reminiscing about how when I was a senior, I was in a studio, like literally every other senior lol. We had 3-4 choices of backgrounds (one of the backgrounds MAY or may not have been a nature scene lol), and we walked away with mayyybeeee 6-7 different shots. A chair with my hands strategically placed on the back was definitely used as a prop. haha.

Good news is, with the way many photographers work today, you don’t have to have cookie cutter looks. This fact, is huge! YOU, kiddo, get to be your own person!

Now , feel free to sit back, grab a cup of coffee, and enjoy my typical overshare of Shea’s gorgeous session. Keep in mind, she was second in line of senior photos, and I know she would agree that she walked away with her own unique experience, and completely different images than her sister had, and that are true to her!
