Go Green! Finding spring!
We have started to have nice days between the bursts of snow! Chris and I relished in a day that was beautiful, and christened my gifted membership (SUCH a cool gift to receive btw!) to the Denver Botanic Gardens! Even though the full spring bloom hasn’t happened yet, we got to see a plethora of cool stuff!
I have grown to love the colors of winter, the stark whites have always been a favorite, but I have added the golden grasses and bushes of winter into my photographic book of looks I love! Today it was all about greens, brights primary colors, and expectations of a rainbow soon!
With 3 cameras in hand, we headed out to see what the gardens looked like, pre-spring/summer!
The first three images below are my absolute favorites from the adventure.I love them for the colors, the framing, the visual that I was photographing.
**all images in smaller groupings can be enlarged by clicking on them individually.
We went in and out of the succulent and the dessert plant house (some of these are taken by Chris so I’m borrowing them to tell the story lol, he is identified for his photographs), down by the water and wandered the path to the north west side of the park.
Another favorite part of the gardens for me is the Japanese gardens They are so calming and serene. There weren’t any bonsai trees out yet, but the whole area is still incredible, even without those little guys!
We looped around into the greenhouse area, with the tropical plants! Always so much eye candy in here!!
Inside the greenhouse is always a treat. There is always something different to photograph or a different way to photograph favorite things.
Wrapping up our visit, my eye is still noticing things. I shot until we got to the car and was thrilled to pic up my negatives a few days later!!
I hope you enjoyed this little taste of green as the green is really starting to pop, and populate!
I am always on the lookout for cool places to go and enjoy, and shoot, and observe. Please reach out if you have an idea! I would LOVE to hear about it!
Thank you, truly, for stopping here and reading! If this if your first time here, I hope that you can find some other cool entries in the archives, and it you are a consistent reader/looker, I hope that this week did not disappoint! ALSO, if there is something you would like to learn, or see me blog about, let me know! I love helping, and offering my experiences since I learn so so much from others! Giving back is good lol!!
Until next week….
