Surprise!! - Engagement Session!
Kimmie had plans, she wanted a full on surprise, in order to propose to her girlfriend Carrie, without her catching on until we wanted her to! It was perfect, we planned a “family photoshoot”, where Kimmie’s sister, nieces and nephews, and their parents would all be present, as a “gift to their mom”.
After some excellent preparation on her end, and a dry walk through with me, we were ready to see if we could pull it off. We met for family photos, and had a GREAT time doing that, meandering around the park! On cue, Kimmie took Carrie’s hand and led her down a path lined with signs, displaying all the things she loved about Carrie…there was not a dry eye in the place!
Carrie finally realized all the signs were for her, and had her moment before Kim got down on one knee! I’ll just share the story in pictures and let you see for yourself!
Kim, you outdid yourself, and as I told you and Carrie, I could feel the love between you two so so deeply. The way you look at each other, it’s all there, it’s all so good.
I was so honored to be able to be a part of this special day for these beautiful ladies, and I know they will have a lifetime of love and fun ahead of them!!
Kimmie, you did good!! Carrie was indeed FULLY surprised, and even though we knew it would be amazing whether it went off as planned or not, it DID go off about as perfectly as we expected!!!
