Throwing a curve ball - Logan, session share.
I seem to be throwing out all kinds of deviations from my norm lately…bear with me. I have shifted a bit in my process, that is for my portrait work, but not completely changed direction. As I mentioned before, I have added in shooting a roll of film during many of my paid portrait shoots lately. I could devour the film shots, but also am smitten over what I can achieve with digital, so figure its a good mesh of the minds.
This is Logan. Throwing a curve ball in the sense that I am using an image you may be surprised with, for my cover shot. Maybe you will love it as much as I do, maybe you won’t! It’s beautiful world, this photography gig, that images can speak to so many different people, in SO many different ways!
Back to Logan! I met him when I did family portraits for his family, when he was maybe 6? Shy young man, but with a really charming and kind personality. He was so fun to work with even as a youngster. Flash forward to senior year and this young man has blossomed into a truly incredible human. Athletic, with a passion for performance. Smart as a whip, with ambition to achieve greatness. Such a kind and responsive young man that I had SUCH a fantastic time with. He was up for anything, engaged in conversation with my relentless question asking, as well as being sincerely interested in my passion for photos. Really stellar individual.
Let me share some of Logan, with you.
I appreciate my clients allowing me to slow the roll (literally lol), and take time to shoot some film with them again. It’s been a minute!
I also appreciate the fact that there are so many amazing people in this world, that do good things, that are good humans, and that is reflected at virtually every session I have. I am fortunate that they find me, although I think in general, people are great.
Thank you for joining in the fun this week!!
Health and love to all…
