This is life...
I had the opportunity to photograph this little bundle of joy along side his beautiful sisters when he turned one! I have photographed each of the kids in their home, around their first birthdays. It was a tradition that mom and dad didn’t want to break! It was such fun to see the interaction between the sisters and their little brother, and how much they wanted to bestow hugs, kisses and helping tips, as our session unfolded.
The kids and I became fast friends again, and I was able to just observed Ezio’s curiosity and excitement over balloons or ice cream, and of course wondering what this cake thing was all about!
He did “him”, and I followed closely behind, getting a beautiful glance into their little family world!
Moments….she started shy, and blossomed with confidence as we continued taking pictures.
Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we always had the eye of a child to the world around us?
Ever curious about what I am up to….
From an outside observer, this family is well bonded and uplifting. I know day to day, there can be challenges in our lives, especially when raising kids, but seeing the kids, interacting with mom and dad, and the feeling of comfort and connection was heartwarming.
…and we are done. :-)
Standing back and observing, letting them be them, taking the reins to lead the direction we were headed and then turning them lose to unfold as they would….the perfect combo!
Thank you for stopping by this week to the blog, and every week that you do! I know we all have limited time so I thank you for stopping to visit with me and hopefully you will see or read something to make you smile, learn something new or spend a few moments escaping into someone else’s life.
If you have questions, comments or just want to connect, please do! I love it!
Until next week….
